So around 3 a.m. (an hour ago) I woke to pounding on my front door....I opened the door, and there was a girl with a busted nose and one of her eyes looked like it caught a very hard hit as well--she asked if she could use my phone to call the police so I said sure (the girl looked like she needed the help).   

So I leave her in my living room and run upstairs to my bathroom to get some medical supplies to look her over until an ambulance could look at her...I was upstairs maybe 2 minutes, I come back down and she is gone....I go out on my front porch, no sign of her (or anyone for that matter)...the cops arrive, look all through my house, backyard, my car, everywhere around my house...no fucking sign of her, they told me to call if I see anything else but im left thinking "wtf"....where did she go?....toooo fucking weird...so now im stuck awake.

on a srs note, that's weird as hell yeah, especially if it was a little amount of time like that and then nowhere to be found. would suck if whoever did that followed her and pulled her out or whatever, just hope its not some cunt guy battering women.

Update:  Well nothing is missing, and I know her call made it to the police because when they arrived they were kinda hostile to me when she wasn't there...so they searched everything (probably making sure I didn't do something to her then stash her)..and the fucked up part is ive heard nothing today, no police follow up, nothing...like the bitch just dissappeared..

That's fuckin weird bro.

Maybe she realized the cops would try to pressure her into pressing charges on her boyfriend or who/e and she bailed after calling them because she didn't have the guts to go through with it.

Some people will get beaten like that and fool themself into thinking that the person won't do it again if they just let it slide this time. You can see it on Cops and such where people call in after getting beat up by their significant other and then once they realize that they're gonna have to go to court to settle it, they don't want anything to do with the domestic violence charges that might actually keep them safe from the other person in the long run.

The cops end up having to take someone to jail every time, when someone has a mark on them and they showed up for domestic violence call.

yeah, if my wife wasn't awake with me they probably would of questioned me alot longer to where the girl was....well this might go down as one of those things that ill never know the answer to

1. You should have made the 911 call yourself.
2. Unless you are a doctor or paramedic with lots of insurance never treat anyone except to stop life threatening bleeding or to restore breathing.
3. A blanket for shock would be only appropriate treatment in her case until medics arrive.
4. Never let her out of your sight.

If she doesn't surface soon you may become a suspect if she's reported missing by the guy who obviously battered her but Monday morning quarterbacking is worthless anyway.
