...people who disconnect in the middle of a game aren't always doing so on purpose.

if it's a problem with a specific person,  lets say adrenaline for example,  maybe sometihng can be done.
but to just do it for everyone who disconnects in the middle of a game..    don't think it's gonna happen.

It seems like adren is the patron saint of dc's.

There isn't way to enforce this krez.

   I do agree it is annoying as hell,  although sometimes funny.
It is pretty low for people to do this in a team game,  and a ban or something
would be a good call for habitual offenders.  Maybe just forcing them to use their
'real' name for a week would also work well.

Heyy, that's an interesting idea.  If someone is making a habit of disconnecting, removing their ability to alias for awhile might be an interesting first step.

I'd be willing to give that a shot ...

Hmmm... Actually riddick is his main and essentially only alias.  Only one time in the last year has he used any name besides riddick, and that was on mutant.

So obviously requiring him to unalias won't help in this case...

You have to understand you look at this game as competition and understand the value of the time invested.

Anyone from a normal ffa server, Especially Vanilla, will probably not understand your point of view, and only see q2 of any form as just a game.  Even following them to the server they goto will probably not do anything positive. 

In the end, they are more or less public servers and people will come and go at will.

Better captain and take some control of your team by locking i guess if its that big of a deal.

as for riddick,    I think it's great a vanilla player even came by the tourney servers.
  even if it was for only 5 minutes...  I wonder if it was the 'skill'  or the ego's that made him ditch the last 5....
