Guys,

I love different maps too however I think in this case you're all being stubborn for no good reason. Most of you know how to play Edge and know it well. Sure it may not be your first choice - it may not even be your strongest map - but it is the single map that everyone, from the new to the old-school, can play with confidence. This yeilds larger turnouts and less forfeited matches which is an undeniable fact.

Please keep in mind that this is more for good of the community and tournament as a whole rather than yourselves or your ego. Please reconsider as in my opinion another failed tournament is still a possibility with the current scenario.

I'm not being stubborn, but thanks for telling me how I feel jeet. I play q2 for fun, and 1v1 dm1 isn't fun for me, so why would I sign up for a tournament that is exactly that? I don't care if you guys do that tournament, not sure why missing out on one or two people is a big deal, and if it's any more than that, then maybe "your" idea isn't such a great one.

My apologies if I've offended you, deft. It was just a thought I had when NADL #1 was first announced, and although I still have my objections, I will still participate is the tournament regardless of the format.

If its going to be a league with group play, I really think it would be better to have some variety in the maps. If you want more signups you could create a lower division for newer players. Div I and Div II for instance.

I think as long as 16 people sign up it will be pretty cool. Have 4 groups of 4 and the top 2 in each group advance to the playoffs. That guarantees everyone at least 3 matches assuming no forfeits.
