q2dm2 in the 2v2 tourney?

i really want q2dm2 to be on the map list since its a great 2v2 map but this is what i said in the nominations thread:

if q2dm2 is played (which i think it should since its a GREAT 2v2 map) the BFG has to be enabled for the railgun to spawn.. I don't see a big problem with using bfg in dm2 since its not that difficult to avoid anyways or you can just have a gentleman's agreement not to use it but you'll still have to enable it

was wondering if the bfg rule will be changed for dm2 if it gets to the map list?

if you really dont' want bfg to be enabled you can also change your server mod to the new tdm mod since this fixes the bug where railgun wont spawn if bfg is disabled.. it will always spawn as a railgun in tdm.. also fixes other bugs for like q2dm8 if you want powershield off, itll only spawn red armor and megahealth at the powerup place, on tourney itll spawn both red armor and megahealth until powershield is supposed to spawn then nothing will spawn again, just like the rail/bfg in dm2.

Hiya Naym,

thanks for letting us know about that 'detail' 

I guess it wouldn't be too bad to enable BFG for the tourney if there's not a bunch of maps having the gun.
