My favorite bar has been shutdown for a period of time and may be shutdown permanently. Reason? Drunk people walk out of the bar and get themselves killed by passing vehicles. I don't understand why the bar is held responsible for people being stupid. To me if you drink too much, you walk in the street and get hit by a car, it's your fault, not the bar. I realize there are rules and you're not allowed to serve a over intoxicated patron. But in this case what if the patron was already drunk before they came in and the only alcoholic drink they managed to get was purchased for them by another patron? How are you suppose to police a bar filled with many people from doing that? Pisses me off.

Basically it comes down to liberal bullshit. The idea for a person to blame someone else so they don't feel bad about being stupid. . This is where this gets fun.

Liberal logic:
I'm an idiot, so it must be my teacher's fault.  Oh but my teacher is underpaid for working half a year, so we can't blame her.  It must be the republican's fault because they don't want to tax people enough to pay the teachers for the other half of the year that they don't do any work, why should they have to find a job for 4 months they have off.  So I must not be an idiot after all, Republicans are to blame.

Idiot = Drunk Patron. Same idea. Man I wish NH would start voting the RIGHT way.

shit happens, it's the guys fault, leave the fucking bar alone.

do you always know how intoxicated someone is?  you go to a bar to get drunk, so it's obviously a fine line when the bartender should stop serving you.  so what to we do, have BAC content measurement to get a drink.  i'll stick with not putting in place crazy measurements to _seldom prevent some drunk guy from walking into cars (at the expensive of having to implement insane measures and taking the fun out of life). *blame the guy, not the bar
so what to do about people who are alocholics.. to prevent people becoming alcoholics and walking into cars, well.. I don't think implementing strange rules at bars is going to help so much.
