well for one i downloaded the r1q2 from ritch.net but its seems my video lags and flickers.im guessing it comes from a not good config?.i use the r1q2 anti cheat but without using the r1gl driver.im running my quake in open gl and everything is crisp with no video lag or flickering what so ever.id really like to get the r1gl driver working properly for me.im not very good at making configs or the whole command thing. If someone can help out its greatly appreciated.thnx in advance.

Well, Dunno what yer setup is...
Machine, GPU, monitor type..
I used pretty much the same setup for either of my machines (p2 and p4)
CRT, 64 mg nvidea on the p2 and 256 on the p4
here's everything I have set for video and never had any problems
set intensity "0"
set gl_ext_palettedtexture "1"
set gl_flush "0"
set cl_vwep "1"
set fov "110"
set vid_gamma "0.400000"
set vid_ypos "22"
set vid_xpos "3"
set gl_shadows "0"
set gl_modulate "99"
set gl_swapinterval "1"
set gl_ext_pointparameters "1"
set gl_ext_multitexture "1"
set gl_vertex_arrays "0"
set gl_texturesolidmode "default"
set gl_texturealphamode "default"
set gl_texturemode "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_NEAREST"
set gl_particle_att_c "0.01"
set gl_particle_att_b "0.0"
set gl_particle_att_a "0.01"
set gl_particle_size "2"
set gl_particle_max_size "2"
set gl_particle_min_size "2"
set gl_finish "0"
set gl_mode "6"
set vid_ref "r1gl"
set cl_maxfps "90"
set vid_fullscreen "1"
set viewsize "100"
set vid_flip_on_switch 1
gl_coloredlightmaps 0
vid_restart
Hope that helps some, but r1ch might be along to help out in a more specific and coherent manner
Should deff post yer specs, and maybe drop the r1q2 forum a line.

You may want to play with your gl_swapinterval, vid_optimalrefresh or gl_ztrick cvars when using R1GL. Normal GL has several bugs or does stuff differently to how R1GL does that could be causing this. Try toggling each of these followed by a vid_restart until the problem goes away.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
