do you consider these spiked models?

im using new models for the explosion effect from blasters and bullets
iv been using the bullet one for awhile now, and just started using the blaster one

my question is, do you think these are spiked models? the look a lot like it to me. but they really dont "help" me in that way, there just eye candy
i want to be legit is all i guess, i dont want someone accusing me of this sorta thing down the road

Nah. The spikes are too small to be helpful... and your enemy would have to run around shooting at his feet.

Yeah, I think the thing was spikes on player models I presume so you can see them through walls?  This may be a help in FFA games if you can't tell where the action is taking place, but I don't really think it's in the same category as spiked player models.

I dont think those bullet puffs count as spikes, as long as they're not thick enough to show through walls. Gotta say it does look kinda cool

(For those who don't know what a spiked model looks like: think of a player model with a big floating 'hula hoop' of spikes around it.)

nah not big enough for that, unless the wall was almost paper thin
