Is console so bored that they must go around and change players skins for no reason, or do +right, and so on?  I mean come on, is changing skins really improving play on ther server?

Yeah I find it a bit irritating at times as well.  Or mainly the idea that they could mess with me ever so slightly during the game, and I may fall into the lava or something, and I'll just attribute it to lag, and I'd never know.

Sometimes I've lol'd though when they play the funny sounds.  Though the spam of multiple images of characters on my screen is a tad annoying, specially during the heat of battle.

Interesting... The admins were just discussing  policy on these sorts of actions just this afternoon.

Now for players who have been cheating, especially after they've been warned, pretty much anything goes...

For players who are being deliberatly obnoxious and spamming spamming spamming after having been asked to tone it down, and having been muted, but they disconnect and come back and do it some more... they are probably going to get messed with a bit.

Apart from that, it's generally agreed that all other players should be able to enjoy a game without their skins being changed (barring intentionally bogus skins like 'detector' or whatever.)  Same goes for other kinds of tampering like +right or whatever.

Punk... there should be no need to worry about admins "messing with you ever so slightly" during the game.  This shouldn't be happening, and I haven't seen evidence of this.  If you think it has happened I will go over the logfile with the proverbial fine-toothed comb and find out for sure.  But again, It shouldn't be happening, and I don't think it has.

As for cl_testentities 1 ... it has gotten some laughs.  It sounds like maybe it has been a bit overplayed.

No, I don't think it's happened (at least not that I noticed), but like I said, it's just the realization that it's "possible" (I never knew you could do things like that, kinda cool actually) might make me paranoid =P  

I appreciate your assurance that you guys aren't about that though.  It doesn't cross my mind while playing on the server.  One time I had my FOV changed, but it was when we were screwing around.  I just didn't know servers could change client settings on the fly like that, interesting at least =)
