Thank Goodness It's Friday!!!

Well, summer is just about over and school is in session again. for those you who are still in school... how were your first few days of school? Do you like your teachers... did you make a new friend? Anything funny/exciting happen?  OR is there anything memorable about school that you will always remember about? (I need to come up with a list of memories myself so I can put them in my half page)

It's only the start of school and I already feel all the pressure building up, but I have a feeling it won't be a bad school year. I want to make my Senior year memorable. Anyway, I'm taking AP Calculus and this year I have it first period again... I'm the only girl and there are only 5 people in the class, the teacher makes a lot of sexist comments too. I'm looking forward to not writing tons of dumb history essays/homework over the weekend, like I did last year - boy did that suck. AP Psychology seems like it will be a lot of work but it's all very interesting so far. I'm the only one in French V (I get a whole sheet of paper with my name on it all to myself for attendence, lol), but it's a French IV/V class. My teacher was like, "Oh Mya*, you can help me teach!!" "Nooo.." "Maybe next week!" "... -_-"  and my AP English teacher really made us all nervous by making a speech about how it'll be a hard course, and a lot of work, etc.

I do miss school, especially the witty comments the guys make in class.

Actually, school never stops, you just don't go to classes anymore and most of the teaching is by self.

Goddam right. I'm learning more now, by actually having a real job. It teaches me more every day than school ever did.

I totally wasted my time in school and left with just 1 'O' level in Maths.

I gave myself 8 fictitious 'O' levels on my CV (Resume) after 6 months and applied for a load of jobs and got one after several interviews.  Not once was I asked to produce proof of any certificates so, IMO, school was basically a big waste of time.

Also after 3 years I gave myself 2 'A' levels...never been asked for proof of these either.

If I felt the need I would give myself a degree without even thinking about it.

And yes, I am currently in a good job working for the largest broadband providers in the UK in a technical capacity.

yet for the real jobs I told the truth,  7 years so far now, and hopefully a half decent retirement for me....  eventually
