Hi,
Just wanted to mention that the anticheat is still in BETA release, and there are some known types of hacks or mods that are not being detected yet.
For instance... spiked models. The anticheat has the
capability
to prevent these... but in order to do so, we will need to lock down what models ARE legal.
I guess that shouldn't be too hard for the tourney servers, as only the basic male or female models tend to be used.
For the FFA servers, we'd want to lock down at least the models most people use, like male, female, crackhor, cyborg, maybe the cows and some other frequently used ones. (Note: this doesn't mean other models will be prevented, it just means if you use some other model, there's no guarantee your opponent won't have a spiked version of that model, even if they're running anticheat. In other words, the point is if you DO use one of the models we "lock down", then, you will be able to be confident an opponent who is running anticheat is using a legit. version of that model.)
We will publish a list of all the models that are protected by anticheat as they are added to the system.

Also, with this BETA anticheat, there are still SOME kinds of wallhacks that can be loaded. This is a known issue. I'm just putting it out there because I don't want someone to be surprised by it and get freaked out.
This will be solved in a future version as well.
