Question from a newbie..

How do you bind keys (like hook for example). I'm getting totally owned in Ctf and need some help.
Also, is there a way I can bind my mousewheel as weapon selector. I'm used to that from quake 3 and it helped me alot.
Thanks

NovaFlame,
bind <key> "command"
for example, bind enter "+hook"
and mwheel things, is
bind mwheeldown and bind mwheelup, probably to "+weapnext" and "+weaplast"

that guy has a sense of humor
" The gender command needs little explanation. Your choices are "male", "female", or "none". The main effect of this command is changing the message when you die. Instead of "Player killed himself", you will see "herself" or "itself". If you have trouble identifying your gender, consult your family physician. "

think its weapnext and weapprev, not sure.
at any rate, scrolling thru weps takes valuable time.
Most players use keys around their movement keys for most used weps.

I use mwheelup for rocket launcher and mwheeldown for rail.
mouse3 for SSG.
mouse2 for Chaingun
Considering that I'm useless with the energy weapons, this covers all my bases.
I use the WASD keys for movement so,
I've got E and C bound to next and previous weapons, just in case I use up
every single rocket and slug and bullet and shell that I have.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
