Jailbreak is like a team deathmatch mod like CTF but instead of flags, each team gets a jail on the map.  If you frag a member of the other team they go into your jail.  Frag all of them, your team wins.  You can free your teammates by pressing a (usually guarded) button on the other team's side..  JAILBREAK!


Tip:
There are maps to download which you can get automatically while you wait to connect.  If you want to get yourself ready early.  Just download them from here: http://www.tastyspleen.net/quake/downloads/mods/jailbreak/jb25cl.zip  The unzipped files should go in quake2\jail

Thanks for the info and link, Defiant. I've never played it but it sounds like fun. Are you frozen while in jail or can you move around, shoot blaster, shout obscenities and such?

Yes and Yes. 

(On at least one map the prisoners can climb out on their own with a human ladder..)
