Q2admin Setup Help

I was hoping console or someone else could lend a hand with setuping a server with q2dmin
i cant for the life of my get it to run the last time i tried, it wouldnt even start
i was sure i had set it up properly

i was also wondering if console could send the configs he uses for the TS servers?

ahh i figured this out myself

it seems that i need to put the q2admin files in the root quake2 (folder with the quake2.exe in it or whatever) as with the "release" folder that should have the q2admin dll in it

Server address is 24.43.192.44:27910 if anyone wants to try it out
i dont really have a maplist for it yet tho

I tried to connect, it is either down or does not work. "Connecting 24.43.192.44:27910" over and over and over.

ya i took it down for now untill i can get a proper map rotation going on it
it just runs the q2dm1-8 atm

this is really just a test, i have no intention of running this full time atm
i need to build a box for it yet and hopfully change my isp to something better

ok so now i updated to q2admin 1.17.44 and set my port to 27915
it will not show up in ASE, and it did before that =/

But as you can see they're pretty generic... Look at the bottom of r1q2.cfg for the "sv !..." commands, for some additional q2admin settings...
