Team Instagib server for NiDML

Hi,

The first season of the Q2 NiDML (Nations Instagib DeathMatch League) has started. Among other countries, team North America and team Chile are competing. For team USA to have a homeserver and for the Chileneans to be able to play versus any European country, an American team instagib server is needed.

Could Tastyspleen please add a team instagib cfg to one of their tourney servers?

max teamsize 4

We would really appreciate this because it would enable fair matches between the USA and European countries. Since the first matchweek has already started it would be really nice of this would be done as soon as possible.

OK, I need to finally learn how to set up config voting.   

But I would be happy to add it.

I am no server master and I dont have Q2 here to check, but afaik enabling server voting with Tourney is quite easy:

Open the current (teamplay) config and check the voting parameters.
There is one which says enable config voting. Put this on 1. This has to be done in ALL configs that are voteable! If one has config voting 0, then you can vote for that cfg, but once it loads you cannot vote back to another

Then there is some line saying something like: configlist = configs.txt (or .cfg, dunno). Means that in the Tourney dir there needs to be a configs.txt file in which all config filenames that you want to be votable are listed.

Seriously though, it's impossible for american and european teams to play vs each other atm, so it would be nice if the tastyspleen servers had voteable cfgs

Dont know if console got this done yet but I used to run a votable.config osp server and it basicly was as easy sanquin said .



Set tourney to be able to vote cfg's and make your server.cfg's in the tourney folder then add the config name in the  cfg.text pretty sure thats how it goes .

It's been awile and I dont have the full mod on my pc but if ya need help let me know , Btw guys if ya already have a specific server.cfg created it prolly be easier to get that to console then have him make one :p (less time consuming anyhow)
