210-220 ping name changing griefer

so lately i've been playing on mara-coop and exitlevel, but it seems like now every time I connect, within 15 minutes a player with a 220 ping who uses other peoples names joins and ruins the game for everyone. When we go to a new level, he'll turn around immediately and run back to the last level we were just at. He'll do this over and over and over and over again until everyone else on the server quits. This has been going on for about 4 days now and completely ruins the point of playing co-op mode.

He goes by Stargazer, Warlord, Pepp, b2b, betadown (which was my name for a bit) and many other names. He'll impersonate other players and then piss people off while using their name.

That's not really Tastyspleen jurisdiction. Wallfly is there, but the server is not operated by Quadz. You'll probably wanna talk to Maraakate about it. It says his last login here was mid October. Maybe if you private message him it'll forward a message to his email.

It's indeed up to Maraakate whether he wants to ban this guy from his own servers.

However, this unknown player has also been impersonating these playernames on tastyspleen servers, too.

I've added a name-ban in wallfly to restrict them to the nickname they seem to use most ("newyork").

However: I suspect they are probably proxying via a VPN, and they will likely jump to a completely different IP subnet soon to evade the name-ban (and so I expect it will become a prolonged game of whack-a-mole.)
