Xatrix maps

Hello. I downloaded today The Reckoning Which supposedly uses the xatrix mode. However I can't explore the maps as they appear on the server. There have different weapons in different places or there are no weapons at all.
I have noticed that the maps in Tastyspleen Have an "x" prefix on xatrix servers (with traps). For example xbath instead of bath.
But when I use "gamemap xbath" it does not work.

Is not working with R1Q2 nor Quake II nor The Reckoning .

What I'm missing?

xbath is a xatrix override of the bath map.
you only download the original map bath, and i think xbath can only be opened in the server.

The maps and override files can be downloaded here:

If you only see the .override file, but not the .bsp, then the original BSP file (often without the "x") is likely in baseq2:

They are also probably in the all-maps zip (it was last updated in 2013.)

The all-maps.zip contains the paths for each file:

So if you unzip that inside your Quake2 folder (above baseq2) things should go in the correct places.

The general rule is: put files in baseq2, unless they are truly only applicable to a specific mod.
