Centered gun model

this is an old Immortal ra2 demo, somehow the demo is glitched an even tho he's using center gun model, the gun model itself shows, but it's centered in the middle of the screen. anyone know what's going on here? an why the model is bugged out? i love the look personally, an i wish this was an option in clients like q2pro or r1q2.

This may be a server restriction nowadays, but I do not know why. I play almost exactly this gun settings, in my cfg:

set gun_x "-5"
set gun_y "1"
set gun_z "0"

I can to use it with my "quake2.exe" default, even in my multiplayer server. But with my q2pro is not possible, how i remember.

Oh, sorry, I Sorry, I meant "in my own host"! when I enter in some tasty server, this gun settings dont work.
