1vS1 - DaHanG vs naymlis - nice airrocket

From one of last night's games between DaHanG and naymlis.

If any others has a demo of the game, I can use that to cut out the clip as I had to use Demented q2 demo editor to edit my 8mb demo file (thanks to r1q2's sad autorecording), and it's such a crappy program making the clip buggy and I can only store 30 seconds per demofile without registering ;(

And maybe someone could recam it too, since keygrip2 is being awfully buggy for me atm too ;c

How about the rest of the demo?  I'd like to see the whole match if it's avail.

Just to point it out: pov is naymlis (ninJa)

DaHanG hits the airrocket (yes, it does hit in the air, as well as when he lands).

And yeah, it's a chasecam demo.

And yeah, it's buggy (seems to be a 2nd rocket fired while naym is in the air).


At the time of the frag, the score was 3-0 in DaHanG's favor, but naymlis had gotten the map under control and was just about to kill DaHanG. The fact that it was the deciding kill makes it pretty damn nice imo, since naym was about to get DaHanG hadn't he hit him twice with rockets.

As for the rest, I can't edit that big demos with keygrip, and don't know how to split it without using demented which is crappy imo. So if anyone else has the demo, feel free to upload it.

Why not just post it in it's entirety the way it is now?  I wouldn't mind watching it.  You're saying it's in third-person (chasecam) not first person?

problem is that i could only save 30 seconds of the demo at the time with the demented demo editor, else i'd post it a long time ago (as the whole demofile was 8mb big, and keygrip2 wont open such big files)

i have both of the 1v1's played between DaHanG and naymlis that evening. i think i switch pov in the first one once. anyway, both were entertaining and since it seems like there's demand, i'll post them together in the normal 1v1 and tdm demo section of the forums. enjoy.

I was brainstorming,  and thought of a solution of how to get a clip from a huge demo.
While a demo is playing,  you can record a demo.  Dunno if it works will all clients,
but I know I have done it before,  I was laughing my ass off.

So there it is, this solved the problem in my head of getting good clips from the
most likely to be huge demos from the tasty 500.
