Not going to QCon but I am going to MassiveLan this weekend @ the Erie County Fairgrounds.

Would be neat to play some Q2 there.

Erie County, NY.  ~40 minute south of Niagara Falls, NY/ON, a little over an hour north of the NY-PA line.

The reason I asked was because I used to play on a server based in Erie, PA.  I did not know if the county was also called Erie.
I could have looked it up, but I thought I would just ask.

Happy Friar you know better !!! TS has had several strong presences there buddy. Not so much the last few years though. Hopefully though that'll change soon and we'll increase our numbers to years past. I went from 2006 - 2011 straight but missed the last two. It's pretty hit or miss getting alot of us there on the same years.

KnuckleSangwich look for Jehar, RottenRose, and Railwolf to be there for sure, they haven't mised one in years. Jehar has also shoutcasted for them several times. Also Adz1la has made a presence there the last two years i think. Always hated that i missed him.

After 2 or 3 games on OZ 300 ping I can't get used to 40 again.


That massivlan thing is only 3 or 4 hours from here.  Was all excited to go..
Till I remembered we are putting in 400 square feet of flooring this weekend.

Like I said to Jehar, I will now say to Happy...  MOAR NOTICE!!


Qcon has plenty of notice..  but I probably would have had to decide between that or the new floor   $$$

There's one in the winter too.  Enough notice?    I went to that one too.  Horrible snowstorm.  I can't stay the night when I go because of work, had to go home Friday night.   Whiteout conditions.  Highway was full of potholes.  Took me ~2 hours to go 45 minutes home.    Considered yourself notified.

its funny you mention that. sometimes when i play on ozinsta on 30 ping i hardly miss and hit freakish shots with lightning reflex, but sometimes i cant hit jack. suppose it would take me a little time to get used to a 5 ping,  but once i feel the flow
