Problem with joining servers. [FIXED]

Ever since yesterday, I haven't been able to join any tastyspleen quake 2 servers apart from dm 1-8 & vanilla. I get a "this server requires anti-cheat message" for all of them & I know that they don't require anti-cheat since I've played on them before (q2servers.net confirmed this). Can someone please help me out because I really can't get anti-cheat set up on quake 2. Anyone who's played with me before would know that I'm not cheating. I believe I had this problem last year as well but I can't remember how I fixed it.

if you're caught in a subnet ban, the pm the user "console" about it.

just put anticheat in your quake 2 directory. it should work unless you use mac or linux.

I'm surprised there's a difference between dm/vanilla vs. the other servers, as they all use the same AC/ban config.

But yes, your IP is now within a forced-AC subnet. Did you change ISPs? You used to be *.dyn.cust.vf.net.nz, now you're *.dsl.dyn.ihug.co.nz.

Anyway, the simplest/ideal solution would be to get AC working on your system. Which Operating System does your computer run?

No, I didn't change ISP's (I believe vodafone owns ihug) but I changed my internet plan recently. I don't think that should matter though. I have a macosx & an original xbox os. I don't think either is compatible with anticheat & my windows xp desktop is no longer operational. So I really have no idea what to do

Edit: I think it's just RA2 & AQ2 that's giving me the error message since I'm able to connect to some of the less played on servers.

Nevermind, I fixed it All I did was repeatedly reboot my router until I got an IP Address that worked. I guess I just found it strange how this started happening right after a little issue I had with my ISP last week along with ridiculous ping times on quake 2 & Xlink. Thanks for your help anyway.

Old subnet ban. You should be able to connect now.
