yea, i'm in between on this whole issue here. 2dum voting maps nobody knows is lame, but ex complaining about that fact incessantly and then being a hypocrite for doing the polar opposite. only playing on maps he knows. don't be bitches, man up and play a variety of maps. whether you know them or not.

this isn't even an issue imo, jehar allows practically any map that's remotely playable.

Normally, the only issue would be the items(powershield and bfg10k) being voted on. But, 2dum already revealed that he knowingly voted that map to scam someone even when informed these items were illegal in koth:

But like I said: this isn't even an issue, 2dum can pick practically anything... there isn't even an argument. Hypothetically though, the fact that jehar has to be more thorough when investigating a 2dum map pick to make sure he doesn't pull something weird, i wouldn't be surprised in the least if he were also a bit more strict.

well, i think he's trying to get the advantage of having 1 more map to play for a potential win, by picking a map nobody knows.  which seems legitimate, (as long as it is balanced to some TDM theme) Sure the BFG is off by default. If you want powershield, then CTF is the place to be, where it's in a balanced atmosphere. 200 power armor really is a game changer and it has been obvious, ever since it's never been seen in TDM play from it's inception.

If he refuses to join because of that, or quits then that is a lame move. However i have not seen any indication of that. although he has indicated he wants to "gay" the scene. what motive that is, i have little idea. his amount of experience in TDM will be the deciding factor, not too much of the map selection.

map selection can only go so far. allowing a votable rotation can prevent anyone from manipulating that "X factor" so to speak. in which i already thought would be in place. i do find it interesting though, if someone would win from map selection alone. perhaps only against lesser skilled opponents.

so i'd favor that. just for the sake of keeping the variety going on the list of  participants. However since both players each pick 1 map, i find it hard to see that the one who is more experienced in TDM will have a difficult time playing anyways.

there is no argument, holy shit. it's fine that he picks a map that no one knows as long as it gets the approval of the highly flexible jehar. No one is saying that. It's also retarded though that he was willingly practicing with bfg for koth, knowing that it was illegal and others wouldn't be expecting it, as noted in the ts-live snippet from above.
