Have an interesting idea for a Q2 mod.. prob work in other quakes but Q2 would prob fit it best
thinking about respawning working with ra2, and the main problem being that the person who won the last fight would always be at a disadvantage due to not being able to restack... kinda came up with some interesting way to make for some interesting gameplay
FFA style, no teams
everyone spawns with 100/100ra, all guns (or a certain list for that map, bfg is kinda lame) and HALF of every ammo type
no items on the map
killing a person results in one ammo pack of each type to be given (like 5 rockets, 50 bullets, 10 slugs) and 50/50ya up to a maximum of 100/100 (yellow so red doesn't always stay maxed, and can even switch to YA instead of RA if you lose all your armor before getting a kill)... was thinking just give full health/armor back after a kill, but that might end up bad and result in VERY lopsided matches even if they shouldn't be
score by frags... prob be a cool mod to play with other scoring ideas, but something like time alive giving points would result in pretty boring play
no self damage, maybe self damage to armor
basically would result in the same kinda fights as something in ra2, but in much faster succession with respawning, and the free for all would end up kinda funny... i think it would be worth a shot if anyone wants to spend the time modding that up
