Quake 2 Help?

Hello guys

Although i've had Quake 2 for sometime i have never tried to get into it like CPMA due to the fact i dont know how to enhance my game graphically and with commands and stuff for smoother gameplay, i dont even know how to bind weapons! If someone can kindly help me out with commands for Enemy Model Color skin Green and shader texture ect ect would be helpful i registered a while back but never got around to asking for help aha. Cheers guys! :-)
