In the 2002 thread, one of the mod's original developers, Peter Hopkins, seems to indicate that he would be OK with releasing the partly-completed mod, if he could find the time to get the files together.

There's also mention of an "alpha" release of the mod, which was described as being of lower quality than their final (but unfinished) work.

OK... in the 2010 thread it seems like "Blaze_ventura" may be Peter Hopkins from the earlier thread.  He's stating that he finally got the files together and has uploaded the final (partly-completed) work.

The download link worked for me.  Haven't un-RAR'd it yet though...

I guess unseen is/was a retail expansion pack for Q2, complete with install and what not.  I'm asking because someone submitted it as an upload on planet quake but with the installer and lack of website of the developers I'm not sure if it's legal or not.
