where can I find custom paks

i tried the q2kicker the textures look great  i was wondering if there is a pak with the same texture just 16bit..the vanilla textures look rather drab also i'm looking for some custom paks and sounds...i've been using revillas but meh...i like the screenshot in the thre q2 appearance. also m_directinput "1" variable in r1q2 is great! i can aim now!!! but yeah i'm just looking for custom paks if i have to i'll convert them myself...w/ permission ofc.

Though it's not exactly well-organized, http://realistic.tastyspleen.net has a huge-ass archive of all sorts of paks. I'm sure someone could be more specific if provided a screenshot of how you'd like it to look.

i like the custom textures and blue amor also the bright powerups are usefull it would be cool to find some skins like that...can someone point me to some paks?

good luck man realistic's tastyspleen page that jehar linked does have just about anything you would want, although you may have to take bits and pieces of each and make your own pak, i suggest using a program called pakscape its free just go download it

also, i should point out that a retexturing like the one in the screenshot you posted of dm1 will most likely ONLY work for dm1, there is a ton of texture paks that do that sort of thing for dm1 only :/ and then random textures in other maps are fucked... along with the textures, it also looks a bit different due to settings try tweaking around with some of the renderer cvars, i find turning down gl_coloredlightmaps (or r_coloredlightmaps depends on your client) to 0 or .05 or .2 or just really low makes the maps much more likable with it turned all the way up it tries to orange your mind out xD
