But worth it,considering how many amusements are now open to me as part of a couple instead of by myself,and one with a young kid even more so.I might take a woman to see Shrek,if she's open to the idea,but a kid is like an ambassadoreship to the foriegn lands of Family Amusements.Theme Parks are tolerable,but I endure the rides because I can think of better uses of my time being jostled about .  But there are other places...I remember being taken to strange themed resturants in Manhattan:one called Jeckle and Hyde's a spooky castle type thing with amusing things going on in the way of puppetry and other themantic stuff.
The other was somewhere I cannot remember the name of,but you went to some "other planet" with the elevator looking like a flying saucer and the restaurant being situated on a spikey lunar surface,complete with arcade for those long waits for tables,and the whole offplanet decor very well done and cute. I was with my sister and my nephews so that's how I got there,but even though these are cool places to visit,walking in them like it was just another McDonalds would seem ...strange? Even the geek girl with the big tits you want to impress "might" like it do you dare suggest it?...but toss a kid in the mix and you have the excuse!
