I've been just dealing/ignoring this for months and months.....

what are these dips in my netgraph? i skip forward/freeze for a sec every time that happens

haha you had mentioned this to me before but I didn't really picture it like that.

I was thinking it was a lot worse.

the tiny dips are moments of slightly lower ping due to inconsistency in some router along the way.

well.. the ss makes it look like, a fraction as bad. The actual skip messes me up all the time.... every screenshot there's always at least one cluster where there's like, 15 of them within a few seconds. it is bad!, although I may have complained about it that day when it was particularly worse.. but this is how it is, every day:

I would bet on old phone lines and a shit dsl router somewhere down the line.

your geographical situation may give you problems too since everyone there is prolly using the same set of wires to reach the mainland
