Yup. My Lycosa has drivers/firmware updates. Peripherals are getting more and more technical these days.

every piece of hardware has to have a driver, else the computer doesnt know how to use it lol

even older or generic keyboards have drivers, they are just so built in and integrated into OS's that unless you drop a decent amount of coin on a keyboard, youll never even notice driver stuff

if you have a linux box layin around type lsmod into the terminal kicks back all your loaded driver modules

I'm pretty sure that half of the forum members typed that out, realized it was both obvious and pointless, and then decided not to post it. I know I did!

some people dont know shit, you gotta point out the obvious some times technical knowledge has a very wide range.... you could speak binary as your native language, or think your leet cause you can copy and paste... some times what you think its obvious to you wont be so obvious to everyone else

It's obvious that the Operating System has standard keyboard drivers compiled into its kernel to abstract communication at physical and logical layers for an input system used by users and programs, and the OS itself?
