Problems installing Eraser bot 1.0.1 (final)

When I try to install it, I get this error message:

C:\DOCUME~1\SEANSU~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\. A temporary file needed for initialization could not be created or could not be written to. Make sure that the directory path exists, and disk space is available. Choose "Close" to terminate the application.

Any ideas? Alternatively, if someone knows where one might exist, could you provide a .zip version of the final version? (not beta versions, the 1.0.1 final, as bots don`t seem to work on beta versions. :/ )

here u go. got this one out of "the quake bible" cd about 10 years ago. I recently installed it on my bro's pc and had no worries with it

That`s odd, it doesn`t seem to work for me. Also, it`s an .exe inside a .zip. I meant to say to have the .exe in .zip form where all the files in the .zip need to be extracted, etc.

yeah double click the exe to install it and extract it into c:\quake2 folder. after its installed use the quick launcher then it will ask you to set the folder your q2.exe is in which should be c:\quake2 then   it will ask u to set eraser bot location which is c:\quake2\eraser

I unzipped the .exe into the Quake 2 folder, though I still recieve the same message.

Thanks, it installed and I now have the latest version.

However, I have issues running QuickStart. It asked to register qsgraphics.dll, and said it was successful. But then when I run the program it says "Something bad happened!"

So I tried adding bots manually in Eraser by going in-game to a random map and using the bot_num command, but when I set it to a non-zero number no bots spawn.

are you running vista? i had the same error on my bros computer which runs vista. i just kept trying to load it, it eventually worked. also try ctrl alt delete and look in proccesses to make sure its not already running there. cause for some reason in vista it was already

that sounds a bit like its easy to fix with the "run as administrator" option

Running Windows XP. I still tried what you said though, but the error still pops up. Also I`m the only one using this computer, so I`m an admin.
