Sm4ck here is the demo of me learning sound and predictions. I had only been back to quake about 2 months after not playing for a decade or more. It was gaud who taught me sound and prediction. So Prot can run his mouth about me walling all he wants, you can be a dumbass and believe him but idc, i am showing you this demo to show my gameplay. It isn't the greatest demo in the world but i do hit some corner shots, and if u take the time to whack some headphones in you will see it is based on sound. The next step would be to actually record on cam me booting my pc from scratch loading r1q2 and playing, which i am prepared to do btw to prove i aint walling. I will also post a demo of me playing reaper bot on carena, an open map to show you i can play in the open aswell, i tried not to glitch it out too much, reaper does pull ahead by 15 or so at one stage but i pull it back to beat it

prot is a whiner, he regularly cries ping and then he tries to get people to join servers over in euroland (that they are not playing on for a reason) whenever he gets beat handily.

its always "Oh I would beat you at ffa if I didn't have this 110 ping. Play me on some random server in Poland that you've never touched and that doesn't have AC running"


smacky should be better with sounds considering how long he's been playing, but sadly he plays +back almost exclusively and just shoots at every corner behind him while hoping that others won't get bored after 10 minutes of chasing him and that they'll do the same thing over and over.

because of this, he never gets any practice trying to actually locate a person who is sneaking around to flank using only the sounds they are making. Running away constantly and trying to draw you into his xhair negatively affects his aim and sound knowledge and it will as long as he refuses to change his "style".

+back is a viable technique in the right situation, but when you make it your entire style, you are not only very predictable, but you're just shortchanging everyone involved. (your opponent who's time is being wasted, and your own when your skills do not improve)

its when you get some one who really over does it thats a problem XD like bonz... his entire strategy in 1v1 involves boring his opponents to death until they rush... he will sit on the opposite side of the map with a 200/200 stack if hes losing... soooooooo boring

and smack doesnt know much about anything, period  rail player sound prediction is kinda meh... smack wont even play good players, every time some one with aim similar to me or even myself shows up, he goes spec immediately... he might unspec if he watches for awhile, dies a few times, then goes right back to specin...

and if all he plays is railz... he wont get better very fast if at all :/ a player with a more complete base and a better understanding of how the game really works will always smash him with ease

railz ffa players are just that... instagib ffa players, the majority of them have a very limited skill set and dont understand anything beyond point and click playing entirely off sight

btw, "prot" is actually some annoying polish guy I banned on IRTDM for trying to cheat at every possible opportunity. He was caught on TS with a proxy and on Tailgunner's italy based servers with a zbot.

HAHAHA! Figures. I remember that guy (xtx) hoping on the TS railz server late nights for a while, getting beat, then raising hell and shit talking whoever beat him, then trying to lure them to Tailgunner's server where his ping would be much lower. He was doing pretty well for such a brutally high ping, but I didn't really assume that he was cheating at the time. Now it makes sense, haha!

But I think I've seen someone using the name "protagonist" on the servers before who I was sure was not cheating. I seem to recall them having a ping maybe in the 70ms range. That's not the same guy is it?

in prot's defense,..  that proxy call was over a year ago.  He uses AC now and still aims like a pro.

I've seen him use it on TS before.. but then I've also seen him try to make people join a polish instagib server that doesn't have it, if he's not winning.
