It's easy really. Just copy any "standard" size model into the offending players directory. All you have to do is copy the 3 files of your preferred model (I use Homer). Example c:\quake2\baseq2\players\homer:

Copy these homer files into the "bad" player directory (say "crate")
   tris.md2
   weapon.md2
   weapon.pcx

You don't even have to copy all the other pcx files to get the proper skin. In fact you will get many interesting combos of the wrong skins on different models. I also leave the sounds alone so I know what the original model was.

If you just delete the lemming baseq2\players directory it will just download again. This fixes it permanently.
I've done this to lemming, crate, tank, shark, blur, detector, a snake one , and others I forget.

And especially the fox! Was eating a very good fill of them minutes ago heh heh!

Though I rarely mind extreme models, The ones I do hate are with invalid frames spamming the console. Those are very annoying and force me to replace them every time, Like the shark as mentioned.

I used to get SO pissed at all of the skins, so i fixed that in a different, easier way.
On my screen everyone appears as a bright white grunt, cl_noskins 1 
0 on tdm servers where i have bright green athena for the other team.

Haha sheep, that's exactly how my models look. I replaced the female .md2 & view weaps with the male models so that I see white males and green males with female sounds.

Just how do you set your team's skin and the enemy team's skin in opentdm?

Well normally everyone's white grunt, even in a tdm server when i go there, but i have a key bound for cl_noskins 0 and one for vid_restart, when i enter a tdm server all i do is press H and J and then i see the skins.
