Adren beat me @ KOTH tonight

I couldn't hit shit!

Best I got was 100% Grenade....that was one grenade.

I has trouble shooting (and picking maps).

adren is good... but hes an ass hole

just play tdm more, pick a map and learn it... dm1 is the choice most people would suggest but i dont like the map so i dont suggest it ztn2dm3 is a VERY simple map to learn dueling on, q2rdm2 is another easy one thats pretty fun to learn how important weapon control is... if you wanna kinda ninja it and play slow and spam rockets and stuff ztn2dm2 can work but you have to remember to control RL or else it will fuck you over there is also other great maps you can learn easily just cause people dont really play them much so they kind of work as an easy entry point, i started with match1 just because its an easy map to learn and its very polarizing on control so you learn how to keep your control or take it back... you could also just learn kind of a simple aim/prediction/sound kinda map like q2rdm7 which will take a little less overall strategy to beat some average players

plenty of places to look up tdm tips... just remember sound is HUUUUGE so get some headphones control your armors/mh, and CONTROL THE WEAPONS! lol if some one out rails you and you cant play against it.. simple, just dont let them get a rail

practice a little just grab some one from irc and go play a few games on a map you wanna learn or over several maps... cant get better without practice, you probably wont progress to a point where you can beat adren into the ground, but getting up to decent isnt too hard











OOOOOOOOOOOOR if you just want to deal with adren specifically... kick em in the balls and call it a day

playing some one WAY better than you isnt much fun imo... XD spawn... die... spawn... die... spawn... die... playing some one a little better than you is fun, like if your scores end up like 5-10 or 3-9 just stuff like that, the slower scoring games are more intense even players with you is always entertaining... and of course once you get better you can have some fun raping noobs cause it takes less effort XD
