You play duel, so djing should be second nature enough, so that you don't need to compromise your movement just because you feel like playing lazy. Seriously...wtf.

it doesnt hurt my movement at all... movement isnt something i care a whole lot about, i just do it for shits and giggles, any jump i can do with my double jump bind i can do without it, i just like the double jump bind cause i only have to click once i play tdm, not jump maybe if i was on the jump server with like 6 different binds for different kinds of jumps i could see a problem... but thats not the case
not if you have it bound to a key :>
Quote from: haunted on December 06, 2010, 04:07:57 PMnot if you have it bound to a key :>well i jump with right click, and i double jump with mouse5... so essentially doing a double jump manually is just double clicking, so thats what happens when i hit my dj bindstill have to do the jump right, i just dont have to click twice
HOWEVER... i think it would be pretty fucking hilarious to see a one touch script to run through an entire complex jump map xD figure out the waits and movement distances and everything lmao
// ---double jump bind---alias w8 "wait; wait; wait; wait"alias +dj "+moveup; w8; -moveup; w8; +moveup"alias -dj "-moveup"bind mouse4 "+dj"thats mine, never caused me any problems at all unless the jumps come too fast for a specific one which causes me to just stick to a ledge, at which point i just do it manually no need to HOLD the button at all, just tap and im done and as far as douchebags jumping scripts... he doesnt actually script them, he made a hack that records input commands, one touch and it sets him in the right direction and it does the jump automatically for him, all he has to do is land it once or have some one else land it once, and i believe he even had a switch to do everything backwards as well... kinda pathetic if you ask me :/ thats going a bit far where i would consider it a cheat
i would beat the script
