hi
i use the nocheat client for playing quake2 (i know its useless now but i like it, tried r1q2/q2advance dint like them either slow fps or "feel's" odd)
and was wondering how to use the event system to auto record demos during the match and take a screenshot after the match is over

should work if you put it in autoexec.cfg or any config you exec when starting nocheat (config.cfg should work too I think). Mine event commands work for tourney/tdm/battle/gxmod at least, and stops the demo before recording another one.
Using "event" is really simple, you just need to find out what text the mod you use displays before the game starts. Either in white text at the top, or centered text. If you want a screenshot you just find out what the mod displays when the game is over.

Think record, stop and screenshot commands are the only ones working with event. Don't know for sure.
