Help: The Site Itself: Quoting Problem

Whenever I quote something, it'll work correctly, but when I scroll all the way down and then click on the area where I want to type it snaps back up to the top. Every time I type something it will do the same thing; it'll snap to where I'm typing for a split second and then snap back up to the top.
This makes typing very hard.
Is there any solution to this?

It appears to be a problem with Internet Explorer 8.

However, going to Tools->Compatibility View Settings menu and adding "tastyspleen.net" to the list, seems to fix it.
