So, keeping things rolling along, we've come to the next topic of discussion: tourney size. I think we're all pretty much happy with the idea of smaller, 12-person divisions for shorter tournaments, probably single-elim, over a weekend, etc. Keep things tight, open to everybody, and fast-paced. So there isn't really a question I have this time around, just looking for some opinions on how we want to run this when it comes to size and duration.
Personally, I'd like to see 2-3 divisions, to ensure that newer players play with newer players and all that happy fluff. Also, again with the goal of keeping it quick and simple, this would probably be a duel tournament at first, just because we all know how much more coordination it takes to get people to get their team together.
My only real concern is how realistic it would be to get all of the matches in over a weekend. Maybe dropping it down to 8 player brackets, two divisions, would be the fastest solution?
Leaving it open to debate, so debate away!

Quake II is not 27 years old. I refuse to accept THAT much time has gone by.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
