Q2 GPL used for AI testing

I've actually seen this site referenced before I use it.  I thought "hey, someone in Rochester is mirroring all the useful Q2 stuff PQ had".  Well, kinda.  turns out it's a professor there who uses Q2 GPL for making AI.

It's a neat read.  The source is available too.  Pretty much linux only at this point.  It reminds me a lot of Quadz's Wallyfly: the game has no AI in it, everything is controlled via a 3rd party program that connects to the server.  I even think there were using it with IR to make the game control a real robot in the real world...
