name color changer

I remember years and years ago back in the old gamespy days you used to be able to get this program to change the color of your name in quake2 to green. any ideas what this was called and where i can get it?

i saw some players in other servers too. but i think it depends on the server if it supports it

It was called Xania which also had some other nifty things like railtrail colors, clocks and counters. Probably dates back to `98/99 so I don`t even remember if it was a Q2 client or something else.
