cl_maxfps set to 1000 by jump mod?

When I play jump, my cl_maxfps is correctly at 120; but if I goto (or through the q2 menu system connect to) another server my cl_maxfps will be 1000.   I then have to quickly pop console and cage my cl_maxfps back to 120 before being kicked.  Weird!

Background info... 
  • So, I can't see it being the stuff, since it then wouldn't happen if I used the q2 menu.
  • So, I can't  see any errant cl_maxfps setting in my autoexec or config.  cl_maxfps is set to 120 in my autoexec in each gamedir.  No config shows a setting to 1000.
  • I do also have a key bound to "toggle cl_maxfps 33 120" in jump. 
  • In Jump it shows my cl_maxfps as 120.
  • The problem does NOT happen when I'm on the jump server and 1) reconnect  2) goto jump from jump  - by not happening I mean my cl_maxfps is still at 120 after the reconnect.
  • I don't have this problem with any other mod.

try setting

set cl_maxfps "120" as the final line in your autoexec.cfg,and change to read-only properties.

if it doesnt help,delete the config.cfg from the dir.

if that doesnt help,post again   :dohdohdoh:
