Having problems viewing the demos you provided gator. Using R1q2.exe and I get this error
CL_ParseServermessage: Unknown command byte 0 (0x00)

If i use quake2.exe i'll get the msglen > Max_msglen error..

any ideas?

yeah, i need to use my brains when i ref and demo.

to see the demos, you will need the current version of r1q2, protocol 35.

in the future i will make sure to use a different client. But for now there is no fix to see the demos besides using r1q2. :/

Just put cl_protocol 34 in your config gator, and you can use r1q2 all you like. It doesn't help to type it out in console though, it needs to be set in the config as the protocol is set as r1q2 loads.

I dunno how the HELL amin knows like EVERYBODY and his MOTHER in Quake 2. And i dont mean like online, i mean personally!

Anyways yeah he was at my place earlier today. Next time hes gonna bring his computer and lan.
