Can't Connect

I am having the same issues as the other users that were getting kicked from the server.

"I got the anticheat, tried it with both r1q2 and egl, both say "you were kicked from the game" after loading the anti-cheat."

Perhaps my IP or name is banned because I had tried to connect to the servers many times prior to getting the anti-cheat client?

I am having this problem too. To the best of my knowledge I am not banned and have not done anything to get banned, so it is surprising that I was kicked. Of course I have an IP address assigned via Verizon's DHCP server so it could be shared. What can I do to fix this problem of not connecting?

Primarily I just want to get this solved so I can play at what seems like the best q2 servers around. But I think this is a common topic and the moderator is replying via PM to everyone. I think it would be a good idea to provide a short explanation and give it a sticky so people don't have to keep creating new posts.
