I loved the first couple seasons when they would purposely add stock scary noises to the sound track and superimpose ghost faces into the black and white camera. It never affected the investigation, it was just good editing in my opinion. Reminds me of JKcinema:

SyFy? Are they serious or is this just a spoof or temporary thing?
Probably a silly attempt to trademark it or avoid licensing someone elses trademark but Sci-Fi would have to be public domain.
It's called Sci-Fi for a reason and it was coined decades ago. If Wi-Fi can fly, why, oh why, can't I?
Just more dumbing down of America if you ask me.
I am a Sci-Fi fan, not a SyFy fan.
