Holla Quadz, lately on the jump server i have encountered a minor problem, on the maps forkjumping and castro2 there was first places timed as 0.000 seconds, both maps i wasn't present at these times, however, i was present at one map which i cannot remember the name, which when you started, you could store on any point and start there on the hard team. So basically you could spawn on the gun and get a time of 0.000, which will obviously beat the first place with no doubt, but after i remove the 1st times, regardless what time you get, it says (player) has set a 1st place adding 5 mins etc, even though the time doesn't register as a first place after i removed the times for first place that was glitched or w/e.
The only way i could fix this was by deleting the 0.000 times and restarting the map(s), then its fixed.
OK luckily me ans Stoner was present at that one map and we fixed the spawn and removed the 0.000 times, but basically what is happening, on some maps you can just spawn and start where you want, its as if there's no spawn unless an admin adds it, this has only happened recently when the default map was changed from forkjumping to whatever it is now, my suggestion is maybe try changing the default map back to forkjumping? As i got told it was part of the coding, even when you d/l jumpmod is set as default, we can try that and if the problem persists i can go and hunt feedback from elsewhere and try to resolve the problem, where is Loh when we need him lol  :( I don't know much about coding so basically i am confused, only thing i can think of is the default map being changed, only happened since that.
Sorry for making this public, i was going to pm you with the problem but a lot of players on the server have witnessed the problem and are more than happy to give feedback to try and help solve the situation!

Hmmm yeah, some views but no responses, well levi and stoner gonna contribute, as they are the two main witnesses of the current events, some reason people hate to post recently, as they get hounded by trolls on subjects that don't even concern them, fucking idiots.

I don't see any deleted messages... I guess you are replying preemptively?

Anyway, this is a surprise to me, but you are correct.  The map forkjumping is hard-coded into jumpmod in several places when server is restarted.

Hehe, sorry Quadz, yeah i got a bit angry there, but im on about previous situations not current, thats why players wont post, but the two main witnesses will post  ;)
But thats irrelevant to the situation, forkjumping is hard coded to jumpmod so can we try changing it back please? Then we can see how it goes, Regards Whiz  :notworthy:

yo. i have witnessed this phenomenon twice, both times player 'marko' was in server, but i doubt if he has anything to do with it. the maps were forkjumping and castro2. basically you could be playing along and wherever you hit 'kill' is wher eyou would respawn, so essentially you could get on easy team, noclip onto rail, store, and switch to hard, placing a 0.000 time having spawned on the map completion. Noticed today that when you do maptimes on the maps in question while there is a 0.000 time it will report that the map has No Completions, and when you do a !stats <name> 1 on the person w/ the first place 0.000 time, the map in question does not appear in the list of maps the person has a first place time on. any questions?

This is an old old bug - I saw this years ago on TS jump.  Only happens on certain maps.  Wherever you 'store' becomes your spawn point in hard mode even if you have stored right on the gun - hence 0.000 time.

I wouldn't call it a 'teleport' glitch though.

p.s. Can we get rid of the stupid FFA frag thing at the end of each map?  There's plenty of servers I can GOTO if I want frags :)

i agree, the fighting at the end of the map is not cool, and i usually win, so its not just the crybaby cantwins that hate it.
