Map wont work

Whilst on jump i  tried to connect to this map, it wouldnt let me,  i deleted the map and re-downloaded it and it still wont work, anybody know the problem here? See tha attachment and let me know please, Thanks

It tells you.  Corrupt TGA file.
That map has some fucked up env's.  I suggest you rename some valid TGA to the corrupt name and place it in the respective folder.

You can only use 1 environment aka sky box per map as far as I'm aware.I usually just rename my jump folder to jumpmod or whatever,then try and download the map and whatever else again,won't take long with r1q2,as your only getting the map/models/env and textures.Then work out the problem from there,or just rename env folder and reconnect to see if it helps.

I'm guessing you went to Q2DM1 for about 10 seconds then reconnected to a sad forkjumping map.

This is a weird bug we've been having for quite some time now on the jump server.  Nobody on Earth has a clue what causes it, let alone how to fix it

In my job we'd probably call that an unresolved outage

nah, thewill41 or 42 crashed the server when we tried to load it up

look in your "quake2/jump/env" folder for 12 files (6 pcx and 6 tga) that have names starting with "mountainlakes" and delete them.

unzip the file attached to this post into the "quake2/jump/env" folder.

This will replace the broken sky files with ones that I know work fine (if it works, your sky for that map will be solid black)

Ok Thankyou very much  i will do that after i post this now Thankyou for your help guys and lev, you tried uploading that map again? Try it one more time and if it crashes the server then there is obviously something wrong with the map
