The brand spaking new Quake II Training Camp site! It's still in it's early stages, but it's up, by george. You can even (provided you have xfire) jump directly into the server itself... Anyways, this just goes to show that this *is* a real project that DeathStalker and I are both applying ourselves to.

I'm a super nOOb with html. So with Jehar at the helm of the Web site now, mabey we can get it where it needs to be, rather than a 1 page deal.

As a suggestion, i'd suggest a chat room for that webpage if it was physically possible. Many people are irc deficient, and would be a good way to talk in realtime about something, or in a way that was just best done off server.(As in, might disrupt clients on the server at the time).

Other suggestions for Training Camp would be to focus on one map a week. Just set a date, and people will show or not. Spend time working on routes, jumps, sounds, strategies, etc for each map.

Good idea,

I think the best thing to help people learn... would be practice practice practice! A over view of the map and strategies and then some 1on1 / 2on2 action. The more playtime on the map, the better you will get at it.
