Can you add Yamagi Quake to the list?  It's what I am using on Mac OS X and it does work well:

Honestly, I wouldn't even bother adding this.  The devs are arrogant and the support is like pulling teeth.  Honestly, I'll be surprised if this one lasts given their attitude and lack of community.  Yamagi seems content to sit in a bubble doing this as a pet project.

Just wondering if such a thing exists and where I would be able to obtain them?  I've been scouring the net and have tried several packs/downloads to no avail.  I am running Yamagi Quake 2 on the latest version of Mac OS X.  Have all other texture packs and weapon upgrades installed; just can't seem to find enemy models...  Thanks for any help!

Ok, well, let me ask this.  Some of the other projects out there like Berzerker seem to have redone enemy textures.  Any way to extract those?  Hoping someone can help...

"Things that won't be implemented:
- r1q2 network protocol."

That seems strange, I wonder why.

Hopefully he'll at least implement HTTP downloads. ('Last thing we need is another client that downloads maps at a snail's pace.)

:exqueezeme:

I hear ya there.

I forgot one more mod for Quake 2: http://quake2xp.sourceforge.net

Wish it had mac support, but looks great so far!
