Hey looks good in the screenshots, not sure if it was you that joined the jump discord earlier today or not. If it was, upload the map there and we can put it on the german server. (tasty's jump server is mostly dead, and i think has no active admins)

Discussion / 11th Q2 Jump Tournament

We are starting the 11th jump tournament in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Quake II. We were sad to see the low turn out at QuakeCon, so we are having a tournament of our own. The main site, q2scene.net/jump has the sign ups and information, but our discord will have the most up to date information, join up: discord.gg/KC9bVCC

The Sign ups are now opened, registration will close on September 16th. There is a prize pool of $344 usd, with prizes going to the top people in division 1, and the first place finisher in division 2. We currently have 23 people signed up, with a big range in skill.

Discussion / 10th Quake 2 Jump Mod Tournament

That time of year again, there's a new tournament for q2 jump.

A few details:
-minimum prize pool of 300+ pounds
-15 minutes per map to do your best run
-divisions, so everyone can have fun regardless of skill level
-lots of new maps made specifically for the tournament

He's active, seems nice, and we were planning on teaching him some of the adcom.cfg stuff so he can do a better job.

Discussion / Winter Jump League

I'm putting together a winter league. In contrast to previous tournaments, where lower skilled players were eliminated after playing for an hour, this format is much more casual and allows anyone to play. The tournament will also be using a freshly updated version of jumpmod with a few fixes to some old bugs and commands. The format is:

-begins on friday dec 5th, each week 3-10 maps are chosen to play
-will last for 12 weeks, with players being able to either skip 2 weeks weeks of play, or throw out their worst 2 weeks.
-everyone plays the same maps, whenever they want for the whole week, there are no specific times you have/need to play during the week
-complete as many maps as you can per week, with points given out to the top 15 finishers, and 1 point if you manage to finish the map, but are not in the top 15
-tournament server will be at 195.93.242.155:27914, a different port of the German server.

You don't need to sign up to play, but you can do so here.

The tournament server will be up in the next week or so to get people used to the format before the game actually start. Come over and say hello in German(195.93.242.155:27910) and TastySpleen(67.228.69.114:27940).
