In Christianity, God is the Father, the son, and the holy spirit, and its all considered 1 entity, so Christians still believe in 1 god.
The Christian god has 3 personas, but 1 divine essence. They act independent and separate but share the divine nature.
I thought at first that the Christian god was 1 persona, acting as 3 different forms, like water turning into ice snow and rain.... but i guess that's considered modalism and heretic...lol.... but i think there are christians that believe this, and honestly, this way makes the most sense....
BUT
the Christian god is actually 3 distinct persons, but 1 being, and its true understanding is beyond human comprehension.
i guess its possible, since god can do or be anything, but its confusing as heck.
Hey 2dum
(its paledim from hals)
You've got a good grasp of the doctrine of the trinity. One God, three divine Persons. When I was seeking God I was getting constant signs about the number 3 but I didn't understand until I read the bible (Everything clicked when I saw "The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit") I knew God was telling me that this is who He is and that the bible is His book. When I gave my life to Jesus I became a new person (born again)
