What does everyone use to find there game servers? I have used Gamespy and All Seeing Eye, i wanna try a new program. Does anybody else use anything different?

I have it up i just cannot figure out why other people cannot dl the maps from the server? I have looked at this problem for quite awhile and some friends who do it more often then me. And they have been stumped too. I can connect and it runs fine for me but i have the maps. If i send the maps to others they connect fine. I have th maps on the maps.lst, have that file in the baseq2 and tourney folder. i have a maps dir with all the maps in both the baseq2 and the tourney.

Hi all,
 Ive been lookin all over the net for a detailed set of rcon commands or at least the commands wiith a basic description. Any know where i can get them or a program that i can use to have remote access on my server with? New to running a server.

Trouble Shooting / OSP Server Problem

Ok heres my problem.

I have a 2.76 OSP Tourney Server. I have all of the servers maps in a maps folder in the baseq2 and tourney folder. I wasnt able to load any maps i would connect to the server and it would say "server does not have this file". I asked around and found out i had to edit the maps.lst file. I did that and now i load everything fine. But other people connecting to the server get the same thing "server does not have this file" What am i missing???? THnaks again

Hi all i know it really isnt proper to put links up to your server but i know that tasty doesnt offer a lithium server so im gonna. I really to thank you guys here at Tasty for a good playing enviroment. I play quite offen at Vanilla. Anyway I have a OSP Tourney Server set up that is LithiumII based. The server is in NY with 1 gig ethernet. The IP is 69.90.34.14:27960. There are currenetly 4 votable cfgs. Lithium FFA, Lithium Teamplay, RailonlyFFA and Railonly Teamplay. All of these have voteable hooks so you could make it dm although i believe that osp mod doesnt double jump to well. If anyone wants to play lithium ICQ me and id love to jump in a game. ICQ 222-646-154 just lemme know ur a quaker on the request ot contact list. And if it was wrong to post here i am sorry. But please stop in ansd play

Hi ,
    After having some trouble with my quake2 i had to reinstall everything, now i am done and everything seemed to be in working order i go to connect and it wont let me anywhere..... so what suggestions does everyone have?

Ok i took all the files i wanted uninstalled Q2 and Reinstalled it again (now on c program files quake)(was on d) and my prevoius problems were solved but a new problem as arisen. Now it wont allow me to connect to any server just lets me clikc force connect and well we all know what happens then

Ok now lemme ask you this i dont have my quake2 disck due to me not playing in 4 years. what all should i backup prior to uninstallin? CFG,MAPS,SOUNDS,TEXTURES,Models anything else? i removed all paks cept 0 and 1 and no luck. Anyone know i link i can dl q2 from? Also after the reinstall if i use these pak again do you think ill have the same problem?
