I'll do my best to be there, love the sound of a TS500 in his memory! What sort of time were you thinking?

Quake / Re: Quadz, the Loquaciously Multiloquent Member« on: July 12, 2021, 12:53:05 AM »
What a gigantic, titanic punch in the dick.
Echoing a lot of people's sentiments here, Quadz both directly and indirectly taught me a tremendous amount, and it's safe to say he's had a significant impact on most of our lives one way or another. I would even go as far as to say the way Quadz conducted himself as a person gave rise to me changing myself at a crucial time in my young life, somehow just his posts and advice sparked this aura of professionalism, humbleness and immense intelligence that kicked my younger teenage self in the nuts for acting silly all those years back. I've sang praises of quadz to people outside of Quake and even people in real life who don't game ("There's this amazing guy who single handedly keeps the quake 2 community going out of his own pocket! He wrote loads of code to make it even better and enable hopping between servers and get this, he even let's everyone host their own little websites for free!"). An absolutely devastating piece of news, my thoughts and condolences are with everyone and I cannot begin to imagine the grief of his loved ones. For those closer to him, do let us know if there's anything set up to send flowers, dollars, whatever we can do to support. 3

Saw GWAR again in November last year. Equally if not more amazing than the first time since I wasn't 16 and instead at 29 was able to consume things that vastly improve the concert experience. Yes!

A far cry from the diet of days past, I got IBS, a hiatal hernia and all manner of crapola wrong with my digestive system, so I gotta eat as well as I can. Here I've made some kebabs consisting of chicken, steak, broccoli, peppers with a side of mashed sweet potatoes. Ordinarily I'd have added onions and mushrooms at the very least but the lady is funny about her veg and I couldn't be bothered haha.

/dev/random / Re: Whatcha smoking?« on: April 14, 2017, 02:00:45 PM »
Seems only right to contribute to this, I did make it after all..
Focalor! I've been a (mostly) non smoker since about June last year, I got big into the e-cig thing after having a similar but less severe revelation to yours that I wasn't about this life anymore. I needed to quit tobacco before it became any harder than it needed to be and before it started severely impacting my health! Dropped some money on mods tanks and juices and found combinations that worked for me, reduced nicotine levels to where I'm at now, vaping 0.2mg juice which is the lowest possible, I tend to only vape in the morning, lunch and walking home. In the evenings, man has dat dere vaporizer for another substance which is fantastic. Don't really feel the need for nicotine at that point, though sometimes just out of habit and the fact my set up and juices taste so good haha. That said, I've had the occasional cigarette drunk at parties and weddings, this remains rare and doesen't lead me to wanting to smoke cigarettes in the slightest when sober. Thailand was difficult, I had my vape with me of course but jeez something about holidays and smoking go together so well! Resisted though Sometimes my friends roll with tobacco when consuming the other ting, which I don't mind but need to stop getting involved with really, totally kick the tobacco out of my life. I plan to do that when we get the keys to the house I've just bought with the lady, as I usually host where we're renting and unfortunately for my dudes they'll simply have to stop smoking tobacco with their shit in the house - which is largely in part due to the ballache I'll have moving out of this rented place, definitely gonna have to whitewash the walls before we go! It's not awful, but you can tell tobacco hath been here. Keep up the good fight quitters! 8
/dev/random / Re: What games are you playing ?« on: March 26, 2017, 01:51:33 PM »
Overwatch, and often with the lady! I love it, she wasn't into gaming at all prior to meeting me! Weird thing is, she's not even bad. Play of the games for days - must have had a good teacher
Also still play a little World of Warcraft, outside of that mostly mobile games, couple of clash royale accounts over 3k trophies (but barely!) and also playing sword art online: memory defrag, which is nothing but a huge timesink haha! 9

They ain't ready, they ain't ready.. This is what spans through my mind as I'm amazed this thread still lives after all these years and thus knowing I MUST contribute!
Now, I don't know what your daily limey intake is these days and how familiar anyone may or may not be with what I'm about to share, but it is simply fire. An introduction to Grime, by yours truly! Start here, with Kano! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTKSIk7Uqvo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTKSIk7Uqvo Move on over to Stormzy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFOErVWlsxg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFOErVWlsxg Dessert is JME and Giggs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rivFCwwvoh8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rivFCwwvoh8 And given all the Pokemon hype lately, this deserves an honorable mention - though fuck Pokemon Go! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XvsTYq9INU[ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XvsTYq9INU I'm genuinely interested to see what you think, if you've never been exposed to grime before! Also, I don't think the embedding I tried worked - how does one go about this? Thanks! 10

I haven't really read much in the thread but I just wanna say foc's on point r.e. roids having nothing to do with vascularity (veins), it's purely down to your bodyfat % and genetics. If you have exceptionally low bodyfat and great circulation, you're going to be vascular as fuck, steroids or not. I am not lean, I would estimate my bodyfat% to be at LEAST 25% if not more, and I have very vascular forearms, legs and even my chest/pecs to some degree when I'm doing physical activity. Biggest thing to look for when wondering if someone is on steroids is the most obvious possible thing, have they gained an incredible amount of mass within a relatively short time space? if so, roids. There is a ceiling as to how much natural muscle mass you can put on per month, and it is not alot at all. It takes years to gain a sizeable physique without enhancing through steroid abuse.
also acne and making gains despite eating like total shit is a clear sign of steroid abuse too, most of the time. back on topic, stopped watching over a year ago 14
